Roost Two-Bedroom

Date

February 2026

The Roost model is crafted for long, narrow spaces and features a simple modern form with a gabled roof and a welcoming entry porch. This 2-bedroom version makes the most of a tight backyard footprint while still providing comfortable, functional living space.

Set behind the main residence ( a historic structure within a National Register Historic District) the home shows how added density can fit naturally into an established property. The exterior is finished in soft sage green stucco with a red metal roof, giving the small structure a clear, contemporary presence. A front bike rack reflects the everyday needs of student living in a walkable neighborhood.

Inside, an open ceiling creates a bright, airy feel that helps the home feel larger than its footprint. Clean finishes and straightforward materials keep the space durable and easy to maintain over time.

The unit is planned as a rental for University of Arizona students, providing much-needed housing while making practical use of an underutilized backyard.
