We’re excited to share this signature project that showcases the true vision and potential of building with model plan units. This owner is maximizing the full potential of an R2 lot by adding two new units to an already versatile property. Originally home to a 1930s structure with both a main unit and attached sleeping quarters—offering two rentable spaces under one roof—the site is now being transformed into a model of infill potential.

The addition of a new two-bedroom Lumen unit and a detached Micro Mini sleeping quarter brings the total to four unique rental spaces: an existing one-bedroom with attached studio, and a new two-bedroom with detached loft-style studio. The sleeping quarters feature private bathrooms and compact kitchenettes, while the primary units include full kitchens and single bathrooms.

Together, these diverse units shape a compact courtyard layout, designed with sustainability in mind—each with the capacity for rainwater harvesting and graywater reuse. Stay tuned for updates as construction progresses.
